We accept all brands. Simply fill out our online form here, and we’ll let you know how we can assist with your item.
How can I trust you with my items?
We are certified restoration practitioners, trained by a leather expert in Harrogate, UK. You can view our before-and-after transformations on our Instagram and TikTok pages to get an idea of the high-quality work we provide. Your items are in safe hands with us!
How do you determine your prices?
- Pricing for each restoration varies based on the extent of the work required. Costs typically range from €75 to €1,000. To get an accurate quote, simply fill out our form here, and we’ll provide you with a detailed estimate.
What types of repairs do you not handle?
We do not offer services such as zip replacements, lining replacements or any repairs that require us to take the bag apart.
Why should I go through The Handbag Studio instead of the boutique themselves?
Some brands do not accept restoration work for wear and tear and some boutiques can take up to 6 months to repair.
How long does it take to restore an item?
Restoration times vary depending on the extent of the work required. It can take anywhere from 1 week to 6 weeks. For a more accurate timeframe, simply fill out our form here, and we’ll provide you with a detailed estimate.
Do I pay for the restoration upfront?
Yes, payment for the restoration is required once the quote is agreed upon. After payment, we will send you a shipping box along with a prepaid label to send us your item.
How do I send you my item for restoration?
Once the quote is approved and payment is received, we will send you a box with a prepaid shipping label to securely send your item to us.
If you are based in Dublin, we also offer a pick-up service for your convenience. Please note this in your restoration form.
What if my item has irreparable damage?
If we assess that the damage is beyond restoration, we’ll notify you right away and discuss possible alternatives. We aim to restore as much as possible, but some items may not be repairable.
What should I do if I notice a problem with the restoration after receiving my item back?
If you notice any issues after receiving your item, please contact us immediately at support@thehandbagstudio.ie, and we will work with you to address the problem.
